"Ronde Hoep" The classic route to break out of Amsterdam for a short ride. This route takes you out of Amsterdam next to the Amstel river and subsequently through the typical Dutch landscape through a round ‘hoop’ or circle. This is the most popular route around Amsterdam and can therefore be crowded with bikers, but usually not with many cars along.

A great route to check out the typical landscape north of Amsterdam called ‘Waterland’.
